Child Dental Benefit Scheme

The Child Dental Benefit Scheme is a government initiative which provides benefits to eligible children, aged 2-17 years old, for general dental treatment.

Benefits are capped at $1000 over 2 calendar years. Gisborne Family Dental proudly supports the Child Dental Benefit Schedule and have chosen to Bulk bill eligible children who have work completed under the schedule.

Procedures such as check-ups, cleans, radiographs, fillings, extractions, root canals are covered under the scheme, although there are some limits and restrictions.
